PCSM Career Day, October 22nd, 2015

posted Sep 24, 2015, 12:23 PM by PC/SM Chief Resident   [ updated Oct 19, 2015, 7:49 AM ]
We are looking forward to our annual PCSM career day that will take place the morning of October 22nd in the RPSM 3rd Floor Conference Room from 8 am to noon.

We know that some of you may have attended career day last year, but we wanted to let you know that we'd love to help you attend again this year if interested. The day will include a variety of speakers reflecting the diversity of opportunities available to you upon graduation (see schedule below). From public health and policy work to correctional health to full time clinical practice in a community health center. There will also be opportunities for you to get feedback on your CV and to continue networking with people doing work that interests you.

If there is anything that we can do to help you attend (ie, discuss with attending on the wards), please let us know. We realize that residency can be crazy and there isn't always as much time as we'd like to discuss important things like career discernment and the job hunt, but we really want to support you as much as possible in the process.

On behalf of the entire residency leadership team, we wish you the best of luck. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to help.

Jon, Erin, Shwetha, Lauren & Joe (and Casey & Josephine!)
